Terror scheme thwarted: Bomb defused in Quetta

The bomb disposal squad defused the bomb after one hour.

QUETTA: Police defused a five kilogramme bomb in the Dera Murad Jamali area of Quetta on Saturday.

According to reports, a passerby spotted the bomb and informed the police. Police and the bomb disposal squad personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. Explosive materials were planted near the building of the government office.

The bomb disposal squad defused the bomb after one hour. The police registered an FIR against unknown persons and started a search operation.
