KPT crushed PMC Athletico 5-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League match, while HBL thrashed Wohaib FC 6-0 to avoid relegation.
With the win, KPT replaced Afghan FC in ninth with 30 points after 26 matches while PMC Athletico lost their 13th match in the season, staying in 15th with 21 points after 27 matches.
“Each victory is important, it doesn’t matter if it’s against a smaller team,” KPT manager Shah Naeem told The Express Tribune. “We need to at least stay on the number 10th position. It’s the best we can do.”
Meanwhile, HBL replaced ZTBL in 13th with 25 points after26 matches, while Wohaib FC are at the bottom of the league with just eight points after 27 matches.
