Chief Traffic Officer Sohail Chaudhry has reminded members of the public not to block hospital gates with parked vehicles or to hold up ambulances in traffic. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Chaudhry said that cars can be parked only in designated parking areas. He said some people left their cars parked near hospital main gates, causing hindrances not just to general traffic, but also ambulances. Wardens must make sure to clear the roads for ambulances and other rescue vehicles. He directed circle officers to assign wardens to areas near hospitals to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
