Contact has been made between Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan over the potential transfer of midfielder Mohamed Sissoko, according to Inside Futbol.

After losing Nigel De Jong to a season-ending injury, Milan are on a lookout for a midfield enforcer, and the Rossoneri recently identified Sissoko as a potential replacement.

Now Milan have taken the first steps towards making a deal for Sissoko a reality. “Our good relationship with PSG can facilitate the deal, but there is only slight contact at the moment”, said a source close to Milan. “We do not have the financial means of PSG, so the deal can’t be expensive.”
