Broadband: PTCL offers ‘Jadoo Box’ to customers

Monthly charges for 2 Mbps and 4Mbps will be Rs1,549 and Rs2,100 respectively.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has announced that it is offering customers a free ‘Jadoo Box’ with every new 2Mbps and above internet connection. In a press release, PTCL says the “Jadoo Box” is a multi-purpose integrated solution which provides uninterrupted connectivity by using wired DSL as a primary connection and wireless as a backup. “This device comes with inbuilt dual connectivity configuration to fulfil the uninterrupted connectivity needs of the company’s landline, broadband and wireless broadband customers,” it says. The offer brings free ‘Jadoo Box’ device with every new 2Mbps and above connection while customers with less than 2 Mbps speeds can take this device for a one-time additional charge of Rs1,000. Monthly charges for 2 Mbps and 4Mbps will be Rs1,549 and Rs2,100 respectively, while monthly charges for 6Mbps and above will remain the same.
