Remembering rumi: BBSU to hold a seminar in Jan 2013

KARACHI: A seminar on Jalaludddin Rumi, a 13th century Persian poet, will be held at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University (BBSU), Lyari, in January 2013, said the university’s registrar, Dr Mehboob Ali Sheikh on Monday.

He was speaking with the representatives of the Rumi Forum, a Turkish based society for cultural exchange. The forum will collaborate with the university to hold the event at the institution’s premises. Speakers from both countries will be invited to talk about Rumi’s message of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
