SUKKUR: Raheem Bux Sarki, who was kidnapped near the Thull railway station 33 days ago, returned home early Sunday morning.

Sarki, a tractor driver, was abducted by armed men when he was draining rainwater from the fields near the Thull railway station. After kidnapping him, his captors kept him at an undisclosed location. But after they realised that he was a poor man, the kidnappers released him near Shahi Wah, Sarki told the media.

Thull police, however, claimed the hostage was rescued after an encounter.
