Cricket: Judges to play lawyers in match

LAHORE: A team of judges will face a team of lawyers on the cricket field today (Monday). The Judicial Eleven and the Cabinet Eleven, picked from among representatives of the Lahore Bar Association (LBA), will play an exhibition match at the Baba Ground. Separately, the bar association is also currently conducting a 22-team cricket tournament for its members. The finalists for the tournament are to be decided in matches on Monday. LBA General Secretary Asad Zaidi said that the prize distribution ceremony for the cricket tournament will be held at Aiwan-i-Iqbal on the night of the annual Lahore Bar Association dinner. Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry will be chief guest at the event, the general secretary said.
