Rivalry: Cases against 4 ‘for beating woman’
Doctors treating the woman says that she had been beaten.
FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad. Police on Sunday registered cases against four men for allegedly beating and harassing a woman and forcing her to leave the area. No arrests have been made so far. Police said the complainant, Khursheed Bibi, said that the men had been pressing her to leave her home and also take her children away. She alleged that they belonged to an influential family, who were her rivals, and wanted to take over her house. She also said they often stopped her in the street and abused her. On Saturday, she said, on her way to a nearby market, the men beat her on the street. Some neighbours took her to a hospital and informed the police. Doctors treating the woman said that she had been beaten. Police said they were looking for the suspects.
