Transitions: Senior advocate MA Abbasi dies

Abbasi had served as a professor of law at the Sindh Muslim Law College for nearly 40 years.

KARACHI: Legal work at the Sindh High Court remained suspended on Friday, following the demise of a senior lawyer, Masood Ahmed Abbasi. He was 86. Abbasi was the father of SHC Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, and had served as a professor of law at the Sindh Muslim Law College for nearly 40 years. SHC Chief Justice Mushir Alam and other members of the legal fraternity attended the funeral prayers.
