Students from across the twin cities participated in the Rising Pakistan Student Festival 2012 at the Jinnah Convention Centre on Wednesday, said a press release.
The event was organised by Study Aid Foundation of Excellence in collaboration with the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, Jammiat-e-Talaba Pakistan.
The participants showcased their talents in various activities and competitions such as essay-writing, documentary making, poetry and policymaking.
Jawad Nazir student of Foundation University, founder of Jawad Nazir Trust and CEO of Pakistani Treats bagged the first prize for presenting an education policy at the event.
Next up, Faryal of Comsats Islamabad secures the second position. The winners were given shields and cash prizes as a token of appreciation.
