Appointment: FESCO gets new chief executive officer

Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan has taken charge as the new FESCO chief executive officer.

FAISALABAD: Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan has taken charge as the new Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) chief executive officer. He has been appointed to replace Eng Iftikhar, who retired recently. Dr Jabbar joined the Water and Power Development Authority as a junior engineer in 1992. He has a PhD degree in electrical power engineering from the RMIT University in Melbourne and a master’s in electrical power engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia. Earlier, he has served in Lahore and Gujranwala. He has published more than 50 research papers in national and international journals. Dr Jabbar was also the project director and principal at the Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, Gujranwala. He is a member of several engineering associations in Australia, the UK and the USA.
