SIALKOT: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought a report from the Education Department about an incident where a seventh class student’s arm and fingers were broken in a beating by the headmaster of the school. The chief minister gave the officials concerned 24 hours to file the report.  The action was ordered on Thursday after the boy’s parents and neighbours protested against the headmaster of the Government Boys High School in Kotli Loharan “for beating the boy because he was a few minutes late to the class”. They said they were informed about the beating by a class fellow. They said when they reached the school, they found the boy lying unconscious. He was taken to hospital, where doctors treating him said that his right arm and four fingers of his left hand were broken. The protesters demanded strict action against the headmaster and demanded he be sacked from service.
