National Party Balochistan: ‘DG Khan, Rajanpur should be part of Balochistan’
The National Party Balochistan (NPB) has demanded that Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts be made part of Balochistan.
More than 2,000 people from Dera Ghazi Khan division, Rajan Pur, Jam Pur, Taunsa and nearby tribal areas participated in a rally organised by the NPB on Monday.
The rally was led by NPB President Senator Dr Abdul Malik Baloch.
Participants carried placards and banners saying that Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur should be part of Balochistan province. They rallied from Pul Data Square to the District Press Club and shouted slogans against the proposed creation of new provinces and administrative units.
Addressing the rally, Senator Baloch said that there was no need to create a new province in the south Punjab either on linguistic grounds or administrative grounds. The federation, he said, had igrnored promises made to the tribal leaders.
“Today, I have gathered these people to demand the inclusion of Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan districts in Balochistan, since they were separated from Balochistan at the time the One Unit was created.” He also demanded President Asif Ali Zardari hold a referendum in Dera Ghazi Khan division so that the people could decide if they wanted to be part of Balochistan.
Senator Baloch said that the federation had failed to keep its promises made with the tribal leaders.
He regretted that whenever the NPB had raised its voice for its rights, it had been accused of rebellion against Pakistan and declared traitors.
He said that the creation of new provinces, both on the basis of language and administration, would be a conspiracy against various ethnicities and the NPB.
He concluded that the only viable solution to the issue was to hear the demands of all regional ethnicities in Pakistan and implement them. The federation would be strengthened only when confederations within the federation were empowered and the people enjoyed their basic rights, he added.
Since the Pakistan People’s Party announced a movement for the creation of a Seraiki province almost two years ago, the NPB has organised dozens of public gatherings in Dera Ghazi Khan division against the idea, including 20 major public gatherings this year.

We Baloch of Dera Ghazi Khan want to be the part of Balochistan, yes it will prove if refrendom should be hold, we love our baloch brothers.
@Baloch Insafian: i agree with you my insafian bro that ppl shudnt spread hatred... after all we r all muslims first sons of Hazrat Adam(AS) & Bibi Hawa (AS)... we shud have peace & harmony rather we fight with each for stupid reasons... anywayss we shud learn from the past and live in present and think for our future generations.. making provinces on ethnic bases is not a good idea instead we shud activate 27 divisions of Pakistan just like germany... and/or we shud bring in presidential system with local body system to govern all the provinces for the betterment of our ppl eitrher it is for sindhis, balochis, punjabis , pathans or urdu speakers..LONG LIVE PTI
anyways so called balochistan was a part of greater sindh ...and it was under the rai dynasty a rajput dynasty which was invaded by Mohammad bin Qassim

I think Instead of re-merger of D.G.Khan in Balochistan a separate province should b created of D.G.Khan, Rajanpur & other Baloch dominated areas which currently are not part of Balochistan when the time is feasible..!

Brahui are NOT baloch, they are dravidian speaking group and their real linguistic cousins are not baloch but tamil dravidians of tamil nadu in south india and sri lanka. It is a well established fact in academic circles.
We can keep on fighting about petty local and tribal issues while neglecting the big picture of Pakistan. These money and power hungry politicians have done nothing for their country or their people other than lining up their pockets. While these people flex their muscles on self serving issues, the country is burning and is at the verge of another civil war. It is about time that the people unite and throw away the filth that has been our ruling class for the past 50 years.
We do not claim the areas of Pashtoon in Balochistan as we consder those areas as a part of Pashtoonistan. They can make a province there. Today the geography of Balochistan we see is just the province created by pakistan. Its not with the its historical boundaries.
Dera Ghazi khan is the part of Balochistan ( not Balochistan province) historically and we will always demand for the revival of our historical geography.
I am a Brohi speaking Baloch. People who read history from wikipedia and google should start reading books. A nation is not a race that comes from a particular region etc. If it is so then we can not claim any nation with a pure race. As far as Brohi speaking Baloch are concerned then kindly concern a Book by a famous Brohi-speaking Historian Gul Khan Naseer, Koch aur Baloch. This books tells the story of Brohi people. Brohi language has vocabulary of 80% Balochi words rest the language was influenced by the dravidian language just like the Jadgaali Speaking Balochi. Jadgaali is influenced by the sindhi language. Also read about the nations with multi-languages.
Before the migration , there were many BALOCHI SPEAKING tribes in Balochistan like Geodrashi and Brochki.
There are many Balochi speaking tribes who were migrated from south-east asia like Gichki and Khetran, these people were hindu.
Lund Tribe of Baloch were migrated from Spain.
My point is that , Baloch nation consists the people from the origin of Balochistan , middle east and many other parts of world. A nation is not a race , if it was so then we can not claim American as a nation , Punjabi not as a nation, Sindhi as not nation and Pukhtoon not as a nation as there are people in these nation who were migrated from different areas.
How do you say about those Afro-Baloch who were migrated from Africa ? Now you would say those are not Baloch ?
Aswell , The first war of freedom was led by a brohi speaking Baloch . Prince Agha Karim. Attaullah mengal is a brohi speaking Baloch, Raisani are brohi speaking Baloch. Just try to call them as non-Baloch in Balochistan. You would get a nice reply from them.

When you make a province in South punjab on the basis of ethnic name i.e seriki sooba, Than other ethnic groups of this area has right to claim for their wish. This is the reason when KPK name was changed, Hazara demand their province.
Before One unit, these parts were in Balochistan. Same Mr Durani claim for Bhawalpur province.
There is not a new Pandora Box, this Pandora box is already opened with the debate of "new province".
I have read a book on Akbar Bugti in which Bugti said that people of Balochistan had migrated to the areas such as D G Khan or what we call now South Punjab. So, they may be called migrant from Balochistan and now they are part of Punjab province. Please don't open Pandora Box. You may claim tomorrow on parts of Sindh including Karachi because Baloch had invaded Sindh and ruled some parts of Sindh as well in the past. So, we too make claim that Sindhi is spoken upto Khuzdar therefore Hub, Gaddani and areas upto Khuzdar should be incorporated in Sindh. U read in comments that a Pushto-speaking brother has proposed that North Balochistan should be made part of Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa province.

to imran i want to correct your information bruhis are baloch lungguge same baloch trible speake balochi and same speake bruhis and also ther are jadgaal lunguge they are baloch . balochistan is baloch land its devided betwen iran - pakistan and ifganistan . when iran occupied balochistan they devided balochistan in to three part . one part joint it with kerman province and one with hirmes jan provice and remain part of balochitan joint it with sistan thats why they say sistan and balochistan.
You should first prove that your provincial government can look after what they already have. You cannot even control two roads of Sariab and Sirkii in Quetta. Every day there are sectarian killlings, ethnic injustices,kidnappings by some body's younger brother.for ransom. You people kill teachers, doctors and travellers. So prove yourself of worthy what you have and then ask for more. By the way have you asked the people of DG Khan and Rajanpur, as to what they want. You think they would like to become the "Riaya" of Nawab of No Man's land.

we should analyze the baloch claim on these issues... 1st Punjabis have been living in South Asia for agess ... Pashtun living in Central & south Asia for agesssssssss, Sindhis have been living in sindh for agesss... bruhis are living in soo called balochistan for ages but balochis came to south asia in early 16th century from iranian province called sistan ... how they reached sistan province is also another story about them we will discuss it someother time
