LAHORE:
District Public Prosecution Department (DPPD) employees demonstrated in front of their office at the District and Sessions Court and demanded an increase in their salaries. They said they should be given the same salaries as were being drawn by court employees. They said they would go on a strike from December 17 if their demands were not met. District Public Prosecutor Employees Welfare Association General Secretary Hafiz Ashfaq said they would observe strike from 9am to 1pm till December 17. If their demands are not met by then, they would go on a complete strike.
