Crime: House robbed
The police registered a case against unknown robbers but made no arrests or recoveries till the filing of this story.
GUJAR KHAN:
Robbers took away cash, foreign currency and jewellery worth Rs1.5 million from a house in Gujar Khan on Wednesday night. Police sources said that seven armed robbers had entered the house of Sheikh Muhammad Latif in Thathi village and held his family members hostage. The robbers searched the house for about an hour and made away with gold ornaments worth Rs1.5 million, £1,300 (Rs201,736), eight cell phones and other valuables. The police registered a case against unknown robbers but made no arrests or recoveries till the filing of this story.
