Encounter: Ghotki police arrest three criminals

Police managed to arrest the suspects and also seized arms and ammunition found in their possession.

Three men, Aslam Shar, Mohammad Ali aka Fauji Pitafi and Bashir Kosh, were arrested after an encounter in Mir Kosh within the jurisdiction of Khambhra police limits on Wednesday morning.


After receiving a tip-off, the Khambhra police conducted a raid and cordoned off the area where the suspects were hiding. Upon their arrival, the suspects opened fire and the police retaliated during which Mohammad Ali was injured.

Police managed to arrest the suspects and also seized arms and ammunition found in their possession.

According to officials, Aslam Shar was a most-wanted criminal and carries a head money of Rs100,000. Ali and Kosh also have several cases of kidnapping for ransom and robberies registered against them.
