Trespass: Man killed, house looted

The robbers fled with cash, gold jewellery and foreign currency worth millions of rupees.

MULTAN: A man was suffocated to death by robbers who broke into his house on Wednesday afternoon. The robbers fled with cash, gold jewellery and foreign currency worth millions of rupees. Police said some men entered Mian Shaukat’s house in Justice Hameed Colony. They said his wife and children were at work at that time. They said the robbers tied Shaukat with a rope and beat him up. They collected cash and valuables and stuffed a cloth into Shaukat’s mouth when leaving. Police said when his family returned they found Shaukat dead. They informed the police, who collected finger prints from the scene. The deceased was a retired banker.
