Softball: Punjab clinch national championship
Punjab’s Nazia, Saira and Zainab scored two runs each while Areeshe Adnan, Aisah Zafar and Aneela scored for Sindh.

Punjab won the National Women’s Softball Championship for the third time in a row after defeating Sindh 9-7 in the final at the PSB Coaching Centre in Karachi yesterday.
Punjab’s Nazia, Saira and Zainab scored two runs each while Areeshe Adnan, Aisah Zafar and Aneela scored for Sindh. The Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) President Muhammad Saleem Khan was happy about the success of the event in Karachi. “Holding the championship in Karachi was a challenge,” Khan told the Express Tribune. “We believe that it is an achievement. Hopefully the players who participated can now pave their way to international events next year.”
