Steel shed at PTI’s Layyah rally falls over, few injured

LAYYAH: A steel shed at the venue of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally in Layyah fell over injuring a few people including media personnel, reported Express News on Wednesday.

According to Express News correspondent Nasheed Anjum, media personnel were standing on the shed covering the event as no other place had been allocated to them at the rally. The shed fell as PTI President Javed Hashmi was addressing the rally.

Around 10 people, standing on the shed, sustained minor injuries. There was no one present under the shed, however, a car could be seen trapped underneath.

The shed was around 15 feet high.

The rally continued despite the incident.

PTI’s ongoing election campaign includes rallies in more than 200 sub districts, towns and rural areas in 16 South Punjab districts.

People brought this Govt to resolve their problem. Instead they are problems crater. They have no right to rule. They should resign and go back homes.
