Talking to a reporter in Multan, the PTI chief said that his party has an alliance with the youth of Pakistan.
“We have said it again and again that Karachi is being destroyed,” Imran reiterated.
“The people of Karachi should decide not to vote for a party that has a militant wing,” he added.
Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game.
Imran is to visit more than 200 sub districts, towns and rural areas in 16 south Punjab districts as part of the PTI’s election campaign.

Imran Khan is the best choice for entire Pakistan, because he is an honest and straight forward person. Insha Allah he will lead Pakistan out of problems.
Khan is true patriot
The only true dignified leader attempting to awake the nation.Pakistani's have last chance to bring the real CHANGE and these type of oppurtunities are bestowed in decades. The only LEADER providing solutions to all prevailing problems where as other morons(leader of parties) consider imran as real threat trying to obstruct TSUNAMI by baseless criticism. People would have to decide either they want to see perpetuating the current system of Mafia's or they want new faces with new ideology having spotless character like IMRAN KHAN to rule the country. The policies he describes can only be implemented if he gets clear majority otherwise "The coalition of mafia's" won't allow him to bring change. GOD Forbid Even If he fails to deliver than he should also be rejected but its proven now that all other parties either ruling in centre of province have Terribly Failed to deliver.Let's collectively give him atleast one chance.
im with you IK
Someone please tell the ET Web Desk that telling people not to vote for parties with militant wings is not called "name-calling." Or else the Web Desk should tell the peopel that it's perfectly alright to vote for parties with militant wings.
Web Desk walo, time to wake up :)
Just wondering, which party DOES NOT have a militant wing.
@Tari: It is OK for ET to name call others.
@Zaffar: I'm surprised to hear such wonderful things coming from someone who has no clue about what "working hard" really means and "be honest" and "pay your taxes" are good things without being ever a part of such a practice----- come on confess it right here that it is true that you come from a family which has money and doing well without any of the things you listed and since your family has accumulated enough for you to sit back and crtiticise the whole wide world without working for comforts that you have and worrying about paying taxes since like Imran Khan you have no "income" anymore, all has already come-in.
@ET “Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game.” what ???? Really??? what nonsense reporting is thts? do you guys have any reporting oversight? This statement is nothing short an "ET Exposed ! "and its biased towards PTI and Imran Khan
ET..."Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game"....keep your analysis to yourself...we are just interested in the news!
@Uza Syed: Well said!! Also, Imran Khan should know that if he does not care for Karachi and does not have an agenda for fixing its complex problems (imposed on its citizens for decades), he should keep his mouth shut.
@Uza Syed: You are possibly the representative of the ruling class-& do not want to lose your privileged status. You will be responsible for electing the next corrupt government which will then end in a failed state. What credentials do you have to judge IK “trickery”. You talk about hallucination-for your information you have been living in one-where those with powers are above everyone and not answerable to anyone. You are the reason we are where we are as no one has been able to challenge you to work hard, be honest and pay your taxes.
Political parties have miltant wings but PTI is a political wing of Militants. Don't vote for it too.
@Atif: Please rectify yourself not in Karachi but in whole Pakistan
I was a very big fan of Mr. Insaf till what he done to Qasim Umar, Javaid Miandad and others and then as soon as he come into politic I started liking him again but after 25 Dec 2011 when he allow corrupt & landlords into his party I hate him & his party. Now come to his comments Mr. Insaf please check this link
http://s1301.beta.photobucket.com/user/ptilahore/library/PTI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM5O-QJk36s
And please also read the Worker of PTI itself are complaining about rigging in Intra-Party election than how we common people expect that you will bring change http://dawn.com/2012/12/10/pti-workers-see-manipulation-in-intra-party-elections/
So please 1st close your militant wing before you goes to Karachi or in Lahore or anywhere in Pakistan and also bring some discipline in your party as I have seen on TV the discipline of the Karachi biggest party few clips of your party workers http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xvtv7w http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtuki7pti-workers-who-are-unable-to-take-criticism-regarding-their-leaders-iman-hazir-mazarinews http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVHZbn3PaIA
So please 1st do it in your party itself & advice to others
which means you cannot vote for Imran or PTI.
@Atif: He is talking about "organised militant wings" who are used to influence results/objectives -ALL part of the dis-honest system
What if I tell you MQM has no militant wing and the whole party is based on individuals of questionable morals.
i hope this time ppl will vote sensibly! else ready for the worse ppl of pak!
@Uza Syed: You are possibly the representative of the ruling class-& do not want to lose your privileged status. You will be responsible for electing the next corrupt government which will then end in a failed state. You should be admitted to a mental institute to sort out your mind. What credentials do you have to judge IK “trickery”. I would really like to meet you to discuss everything!
What is wrong with people, are there some paid people here making comments? Whatever IK says is wrong.. meaningless..???
Keep your eyes shut and your generations will suffer for your decisions, no matter what you do or where you run... running away from Pakistan will also not work for you, your kids will pay the price, like you looted Pakistan foreigners will loot your kids...
Think now for the nation not for your own family...Pakistan hay tu sab hay!
Tsunami on the rise again
its high time we decide what we want! either we are happy with all these parties ppp, pmln, mqm! no one can force us to change the things vote these parties and 100% sure things will get worse! my demand is just think before you vote this time else bye bye pakis ready for the worse!
Sir, every political party in Karachi has weapons.
This time the hope of change began from Karachi Inshalh.
@Co-inspirator: You know what hallucination is, when you live and see imaginery world which Imran Khan and Taliban have created for you. I'm angry about Imran Khan's shameless attempt to trick and divide the people of Karachi. We do not need such imposters. He never has rejected Talibans, supports them actually. Talibans wish to impose their brand of religion and we refuse it, period.
Poor poor journalism. Strongly condem the expression here "Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game".
@Uza Backed by taliban, politics of trickry? erratic hallucinations. What are you angry about? You've got unresolved issues lady for sure. Either you are an anarchist or sat on some political parties social media wing.
I thought Imran Khan was different, and he could think big. Looks like I was mistaken.
Karachi
He can only speak against PMLN because its only PMLN which does not have a militant wing. For other parties, IK's lips are sealed.
The only sane voice of Pakistan, live long IK.
@KH: Yes, I do reject to be subjugated and ruled by those who have no business being among us, to begin with, if that's what being 'good citizen' means, yes I refuse to be one. I want to be represented by those who I may and I do vote with my own choice. I want to decide for myself without being told by any Imran Khans or his kind what is right for me. He may keep his brand of politics for his fans who like him fo the glamour the lifestyle and his biography without much understanding for politics.
We Karachites fully support PTI for upcoming elections!!!
At least he said it now.Yes IK come out of the PMLN -centric policy and focus on whole Pakistan including Karachi. Dont leave anything to the thugs. We are with you but be bold and say the names ;
Okay so that means it is okay to vote for PML-N
Well said Imran Khan
Writer doesnot like Imran Khan which is shown in his article. I think tribune should hire more professional journalists.
I urge all patriotic pakistanis to vote PTI and IK in next elections for better Karachi, better Pakistan.
@Uza Syed: So you rejected to become a good citizen, and like the bhatta system. Only people benefiting from this will like this I a karachitie dont like it at all.
Vote for Imran Khan only
"Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game."
Well i cant blame ET for this after all they too must live in Karachi. right ;)
@Ali. Used to have a lot of hope in IK.. But which common man you are talking about ? Shah Mehmood ? Mian Azhar ? If you are a worker of PTI, please have them get message of me as "common man" that unless you organize your candidates and have them game in each and every election, you can't expect me to choose you ? where should I stamp in bypolls of multan or recently in punjab when I have no one from PTI to vote for. Its very easy for PTI workers to sit and have marathon commenting trolls, likes, retweets online, its very difficult to organize solid electable candidates in elections.
No way! Imran Khan can keep politics of trickery, that is his brand, for his own kind. We in Karachi have dealt with many Khan's before him, remember likes of Gauhar & Ayub Khans of yester years who also made it their business to teach us rules of being "good" citizen, we rejected dictations then and now also we reject a dictator like this Khan backed by Talibans.
Ok… great then PML-N, Jamaat e Islami and PTI are out, being the political wings of LeJ and TTP respectively.
Dear Pakistanis, please see the difference. PMLN accepting all politicians and parties only in order to come to power. PTI reaching to the common man! Please vote for PTI and change Pakistan for good!
Ok... great then, both PML-N and PTI are out, being the political wings of LeJ and TTP respectively.
Funny man IK. Does namecalling and cheap shots to the PML(N) but is too afraid to take the names of political parties having militant wings of Karachi
news should be unbiased even if Leaders are... "Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game." shows poor journalism.
Karachi will for you Khan!
Ik we Shall not! But Than you have to save us from the consequences of it!
This statement shows that he does NOT believe in violence as a way of implementing vision. It makes utmost sense if you want a future for Pakistan and your children. Long live IK. IK ZB
He is a really funny man...and what about the political wing of militant groups ;)
He is saying the right thing, however, otherwise he has no political acumen and has let down his Party prospects. My prediction is that he will win only 20 to 25 seats the most in the coming elections
I'm no PTI fan boy, but i agree with him on this one...We should learn to give credit where its due...
"Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game." I am NOT a PTI supporter but what kind of directness is this? Is this allowed?
I'm not a fan of Imran Khan but as a Karachite I would agree that one shouldn't vote for any party with a militant wing. Also, this: "Imran, who is campaigning for the upcoming elections, has reverted to name-calling and playing the blame game." . A little overly judgemntal isn't it?
