FAISALABAD: A family court handed over a two-year-old girl to her mother on Tuesday after recovering her from the father. Fauzia Saleem, a resident of Himatpura, Khushab, had filed a petition saying that her husband, Shafaqat Ali, a resident of Chak 215-RB, Islampura in Faisalabad, had thrown her out of their house and kept their daughter, Musafara Jannat. She said she had contacted him several times and asked him to give her their daughter, but he had refused. Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Akram Sheikh had appointed a bailiff, who recovered the girl and presented her before the court on Tuesday. The child was handed over to the mother and the petition was disposed of.
