Human resources: Pakistan to export manpower to Qatar

Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment Director General speaks to a four-member high-level delegation.

ISLAMABAD: Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment Director General Habibur Rehman Khan said the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) will export manpower to the state of Qatar soon. He was talking with a four-member high-level delegation led by Hussain Yousuf alMulla, secretary of the Ministry of Labour, State of Qatar, who arrived in Islamabad on a four-day official visit. The delegation will hold bilateral talks with the Secretary, MHRD and other senior officials on the export of Pakistani manpower to the State of Qatar and other issues of mutual understanding. The government is attaching great importance to this high powered delegation and expecting increase in the outflow of Pakistani highly skilled manpower to Qatar which requires thousands of expatriate workers in their mega projects particularly in the wake of Fifa World Cup, 2022 to be held at Doha, Qatar.
