Human Rights Day: NGOs, traders organise walk

The participants say that the government had a responsibility to ensure human rights.

MULTAN: Non-governmental organisations and traders on Monday organised a joint walk on Human Rights Day and demanded protection of citizens’ rights. Traders’ leader Khwaja Mohammad Shafique and NGO representative Yasmeen Khakwani led the walk from Raza Hall to Kutchery Chowk. The participants said that the government had a responsibility to ensure human rights.
