excellent decision by the PM. he should also be sponsored by other brands. the prize money for the WORLD CHAMPION is USD 8000 by IBSF World Amateur Snooker Championship.
its good that the he is awarded that amount, as it will appreciate new comers to perform with full zeal and passion! but the point is there are lot of people who never knew if they will have their lunch or no. why not help them first? i think fighting poverty is priority!!
World over, Multinationals and Local Business groups support sportsmen, why not in Pakistan?why does everone look at the government? what about corporate social responsibility? there are companies earning billions in Profits cant they give a couple of millions to support at least the Top Ranking Players?
That's public money. Why not give it out your own paycheck Mr. PM. Or better yet, out of your own personal bank account.
Asif should check the cheque first. There is a strong chance of the cheque bouncing back!
15 lakh? You gotta be kidding it.
