Education: School in Bajaur Agency rebuilt

KHAR: A government primary school in Seri Sar village of Barang Tehsil was rehabilitated by the political administration of Bajaur Agency, said a press released issued on Friday. As part of the project, the administration reconstructed three classrooms, two washrooms, a boundary wall and veranda for the school. It also provided 60 student desks, chairs, tables, water coolers, wall clocks and other necessary equipment. Moreover, the school building was repainted and provided an electricity connection. The initiative is expected to benefit around 120 students and teachers. The effort was aimed at increasing enrolment at the school and raising the agency’s literacy rate.
