KARACHI:

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said on Thursday that by endorsing the Kalabagh Dam’s construction the Punjab chief minister was not taking the other three provinces into account.

He dismissed Shahbaz Sharif’s support as a ‘conspiracy’ against his party, the Pakistan Peoples Party, and went on to call Shahbaz “the grand conspirator.”

Speaking to the media after the Sindh Assembly session on Thursday, Memon said that Shahbaz was already trying to sow discord by supporting a division of Sindh into two provinces, and now, he added, he is in favour of the Kalabagh Dam.

The minister claimed that the court based its decision on the Sharif brothers’ opinions.

He alleged that the PML-N had rigged the recently held by-polls but added that the PPP would defeat the PML-N in Punjab in the upcoming elections.
