Overall anxiety levels
91%
9 out of 10 Pakistani youth we surveyed say they feel very nervous/anxious or at least somewhat nervous/anxious.
Pakistani youth are most anxious about increased unemployment rates, food prices and oil/ gas prices.
Although men are more anxious in the overall picture, women are significantly more anxious about the micro level issues.
General attitude
Agents of change
PTI, with majority youth supporting them in 5 out of 8 cities, has emerged as a real threat to traditional parties

Its nice to see that IK has become the vital icon for future progress of Pakistan. There is a lot of propaganda going on against him in pakistani media but I believe that the people of Pakistan are not ready to be deceived by PML-N (3rd time in Pakistan & 6th time in Punjab) and by PPP (4th time). May allah bless us with real honest leadership (IK) and the followers.
In my opinion, adopting a socially more responsible attitude by we citizens is more important for social development of this country then waiting for a new leader or messiah to purify the system with his magical wand. The survey does not include that in its options for solution.
When and how was this survey conducted? I never got a chance to participate in it.
@gp65 Why should the fact that more of the youth nowadays consider their religion rather than their nation as the primary identity be a concern when the main purpose of Pakistan's creation was establishment of an Islamic state???
Besides, JWT is an advertising and marketing agency not some research or academic institute. PTI media cell should do something better instead of trying to build PTI's image through such propaganda stunts.
Everyone has latched on to the PTI story. Is no-one concerned that more youth consider their religion rather than their nation as the primary identity or that more than 20% youth consider armed rebellion as a solution? If this were my country such results would worry me greatly.
Lol----The James Walter Thompson (JWT), Pakistan has its office in Karachi all manned by people who are Karachi-resident (most probably all Urdu speakers) and don't seem to be having any direct connection with Pakistani cities other than Karachi. One can well understand why is MQM on the top in Karachi followed by Imran Khan's PTI----
Below is the address of JWT, Pakistan.
4th Floor, Executive Tower, Dolmen City Karachi Pakistan +92 21 111-598-598

It all depends who decides the size of the sample and select the sample elements. What is the use of this ridiculous and shamed survey if it doesn't portray the real picture?
VOTE FOR PTI
@Bilal Khan: Bilal Khan inshallah u will see the same situation in Punjab .. PTI sweeping Punjab inshallah ... Long Live PTI & its leadership ...
.....impressed by the presentation. Keep it up
@Zee @Fayyaz
Not agreed with the reflecting percentages however Agreed with your calculation
@SUB The values are in percentage. sum of each city equals 100 (approx)
@SUB:
Dear SUB.
Sample size 291 means total number of samples While total u give 99 in Karachi is percent, 99 percent means 100 or near to 100.
35 percent supports MQM AND 30 percent supports PTI.
So it is percent not person....
same case in quetta.
total number 60 is sample size mean 60 persons but popularity in quetta is give in percentage which have nothing to do with total.
hope u understand brother.
PTI Rocks..............
@SUB: I thank ;MOM 75 set s in karachi
LOL @SUB you should learn something about statistics and sampling then comment :D it will tally to give percentage total of 99%-100% regardless of sample size.
Someone at JWT needs to work on their maths. Do remember to check Quetta Please. Its the Most funniest. In the words of an old friend, the JWT guy should go to the maths teacher and demand his tuition fees back
Just check Karachi Sample Size 261 PML-N 6 PML-Q 0 ANP 3 PPP 9 MQM 35 APML 2 JI 3 PTI 30 BNP 1 Others 0 Don’t Know 10 Total 99 Sample Size 261 Where are the remaining (261-99) 162 samples? Arabian Sea???
only pti
@Nasir
Numbers are in percentage and they total to 100 approx, as they have no decimals.
Those who have studied Statistics, they know that t-distribution has small sample and the postulations on whole population usually calculated with success.
@Anas Mansoor: I think you are right
Well instead of talking about PTI popularity many anchors will criticise this servey. I do not know why but many anchors are against PTI
Not undermining the effort and work for making this report, but 261...that's the sample size in Karachi??? (and similarly low in other cities as well).
Numbers for Faisalabad city survey on political party liking do not add up to 110 (sample size).
PTI <3
Timely Boost for PTI lovers..
I think figures for PTI and JI got swapped for Hyderabad.
Very good results for PTI in Karachi. Seems it's neck on neck among the youth in Karachi between MQM and PTI
Youth will decide the future government and large bunch of it supports PTI.
PTI is the real agent of change, we the youth of pakistan support only PTI.
Now this time no anchor person will take this survey and start shouting as they do when PTI graph goes down,,,, our media is sold out,,,,, media is also a part of status quo
Great PTI
well this election the youth must come out to vote...
The sample size is too small for a huge population like ours. The results would have been way more reliable and better for some assessment, had at least 10,000 ppl been surveyed.
in peshawar it seems there is a sweeping support for pti
pti needs to work hard in faisalabad and hyderabad
Very interesting results from Karachi. PTI is almost equal with MQM in terms of youth support it seems (according to this survey) :)
While in other countries results of polls with thousands of participants are viewed critically. Here i see a survey with few hundred participants. What is the credibility of anything showed here? ET if your publishing a survey at least make a good effort at it. This more looks like a Sociology class assignment done on facebook.
where is the pml n claim now .....?????
PTI all the way .thumbs up for PTI
It looks as if the survey indicate for an Egypt style coupe by people against their rulers.
PTI has strong following across the country it appears. In karachi PTI and MQM pretty close. PMLN only ahead in Faisalabd while MQM dominates Hyderabad. So, its PTI which is currently emerging as a national party hands down !
Great news. Youth have awaken to the realities. Without strong leadership it is not possible to tackle challenges of tomorrow. I am from KPK and can see clear sweep of PTI in the major centres of the province.
Does that change anything...?? Change through votes is a myth what we need is Arab spring. like the joker said "introduce some anarchy, upset the established order and everything becomes chaos."
Good working Pti
Appropriately done . However it doesn't mentioned the percentage of youth in Pakistan and doesn't tell which age group was part of survey
Well done PTI
An opener for Anti MQMers. This survey conducted by JWT reveals what the youth of the nation think and feel
