SWAT: The UK chapter of the Human Rights Society of Pakistan (HRSP) has announced to establish a school in Swat “in honour of the vision of” child activist Malala Yousafzai. HRSP Management Committee Chairman Ahmad Shahzad, the former mayor of Brent, made the announcement in a statement issued by the society on Wednesday. “Malala has become an icon for the fight of child rights and promotion of education, not only in Pakistan but in the entire world,” said Shahzad. He said the country is proud of Malala, Kainat and Shazia, “the three daughters of the nation” who were injured in an attack by the Taliban. He said the school will be named after Kainat and Shazia.

Malala is a true daughter of the East. Malala would not be graced by the school in her honour - the school will be graced to be associated with her. Bravery has no age limit.
