Election Preps: JUI-F to speed up mass contact campaign
JUI-F will field its candidates all over the Punjab in the elections.
MULTAN:
Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl central spokesperson Maulana Mohammad Amjad has said his party has decided to speed up its mass contact campaign.
Speaking with the media before leaving Multan on Monday, he said the party had asked its provincial office-bearers to prepare for the coming polls and complete electoral lists. He said the JUI’s “Long Live Islam” conference in Muzaffargarh had shaken capitalists and feudal lords. He said the JUI-F would also organise such conferences in Jhang, Kot Addu, Chakwal and Bahawalnager. He said the JUI-F would field its candidates all over the Punjab in the elections.
He said the JUI-F was not in favour of creating new provinces on a linguistic basis, rather it supported administrative units. He said the JUI-F aimed at introducing the Islamic system in the country because the solution to all prevailing problems lay with this system.
