Goth abad scheme: Over 25% villages regularized

The Board of Revenue has so far regularised 266 villages from a list of 452 villages that was sent for approval.

HYDERABAD:
Around 25 percent of villages in Hyderabad have been regularised under the Goth Abad Scheme, according to a briefing given to Pakistan Peoples’ Party MNA Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamote on Monday. He was told that more than 1,100 villages are being surveyed for regularisation while topographic surveys of 760 villages have been completed. The Board of Revenue has so far regularised 266 villages from a list of 452 villages that was sent for approval.
