Benazir Bhutto assassination: Malik promises to make revelations in his book
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that he would reveal the names of the murderers of Benazir Bhutto and other little-known details of her assassination in his upcoming book.
PPP chairperson and former two-time premier Benazir Bhutto was killed in a gun and bomb attack outside Rawalpindi’s Liaqat Bagh in 2007. Then chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Baitullah Mehsud was blamed for the assassination.
Addressing a gathering of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers in Chitral on Monday, Malik also announced several development projects for the district, including establishment of a passport office and a university to be named after Benazir.
He added that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will launch its mobile services in the district.
About the volatile security situation along the porous Pak-Afghan border, the minister said Kabul would be held responsible for cross-border attacks by Taliban militants led by Mullah Fazlullah on Pakistani villages and security posts.
Mullah Fazlullah, aka Mullah Radio, and his fighters have taken shelter in northeastern Afghanistan after they were routed in a massive military operation in Swat district in 2009. Since then, they have mounted frequent cross-border attacks on Pakistani security forces and civilians in Malakand, Chitral and Bajaur and Mohmand agencies.
Malik said that Pakistan would respond “accordingly” to any aggression in the future. “I will fight militants till my last breath,” he added.
The interior minister also announced a slew of measures to strengthen security in Chital, which included increasing the number of border guards from 400 to 1,500 and the number of Chitral Scouts platoons to 20 from the current seven.

This man cannot read and write proper English. How on earth can he write an entire book?!! Also, why not reveal the names of the culprits to the security agencies or the justice authorities so that they can go after the perpetrators? Why wait so long and reveal it in a book? Something is not right here.

Book is nothing but an attempt to clear his name. He was supposed to be incharge of her security. After her death he was made incharge of security of Pakistan.
Is he going to talk about BB's BB(Blackberry) that he removed.
Now he can not say that Buck stops here. So that taxpayers money on UN investigation and scotland Inspector all was waste of money as he witheld that information from them for profit. Joe average akistani tax payer was foot the bill for UN investigation plus the local commission and now is expected to fork out more money to read his book.Question Is there a conflict of interest in promoting a book while in office?

I hope he will give the reasons for leavig BB alone and driving away in another vehicle, he was her chief of security if my memory is correct. He fits in the description of a Court Jester or Bufoon

Rehman Malik could not arrest the killers of BB during his tenure and could not reveal the facts which killed BB, what he is going to reveal in his book?
Probably after being out of the government, he wants to make income from the royality from his book.
In any case, I am NOT going to buy his book to read.
