CNG prices (II)

Letter December 04, 2012
I think Supreme Court did ordinary people a huge favour by intervening and at least getting the prices of CNG reduced.

LAHORE: I spent nearly four hours the other night while waiting in line to get CNG filled in my car. This is a complete waste of one’s time but when CNG stations keep on closing, for all kinds of reasons, what can one do, if one’s car runs on CNG? This morning, I saw one gentleman put it quite correctly on a private television channel when he said that all this would be resolved in a day if someone in a senior position of authority, such as the prime minister himself, were to wait in such a line.

Quite frankly, I think the Supreme Court did ordinary people a huge favour by intervening and at least getting the prices of CNG reduced to what it should really be.
