@ Law.....you are out-Lawed!!
@law In central london? Are you kidding me? If there were so many people , and worse, people of a certain sect were dying in central london everyday, the queen would have been dragged out of her palace in a week. So far, people here are not insensitive zombies like you and the silent majority of pakistan, about suffering of their fellow community here. Dont spread false figures.
@ Law: Imagine, taking out your cell phone from your pocket or going to a ATM machine in Karachi as compared to Central London. At least, let the deparetd souls rest in peace.
@Law: Ok, so since Karachi is a third world city we should try to bring the crime rate above London? Are people getting murdered in London, left right and center? Is there an extortion industry that has established in London? Maybe sectarian violence? Please, for heaven's sake man, talk some sense. You may have tried to come across as a cool and suave guy but believe me it has only given the impression to people that you are insensitive and an idiot. The government would have collapsed in the UK if people were getting murdered there as they do in Karachi. Shut up and keep your thoughts to yourself. You probably do not even live in Karachi to begin with or roam around with 20 guards. Its us normal folks who have to worry about getting out of our houses.
Mr. Law.Please tell us about these "5206" crimes in London. Are these crimes related to sectarian, political killings? or how many bomb blasts are among them? Give number of . people killed by Taliban. Also please give total number of people killed in London due to these crime. Media is just giving the details of daily killing spree in largest city and commercial capital of Pakistan which contributes 40% of nation's GDP.Behaving like an ostrich is not going to help.
@ law..what if your loved one becomes a victim of a crime...It's not all about statistics..Its about the human faces, emotions and agony behind those numbers. The crime rate in Karachi can be brought down significantly if the law enforcement agencies do their work diligently and professionally. Many of the deaths taking place in Karachi are preventable. For. e.g plain clothed police sting teams can be stationed in high mobile theft areas....There are many other tactics that can be employed....i don't care about crime rate in London..i care about minimizing crime in Karachi as much as humanly possible. Media coverage puts pressure on the relevant authorities which might otherwise stay in oblivion.
@Law..What if unfortunately your loved one becomes a victim in a crime.....It's not all about statistics...It's the human faces, feelings and agony behind those numbers that we should be concerned about. Most of the deaths in Karachi are preventable if the law enforcement agencies do their work diligently and professional. For e.g....policemen in plain clothes can carry out sting operations at places where mobile theft is most common...there are many other solutions...i don't care about the crime rate in London..i care about bringing the crime rate down in Karachi as much as humanly possible...If media is raising the issue..it is actually putting pressure on relevant authorities to do their business
Well Mr Law, i dont think the crimes committed in one portion of London is somthing like killing somebody on the basis of its believes. Since yesterday the terrorists have killed people like a couple who was professional medical doctor and while killing one also injured his daughter who was going to her school. Where in London such henious crimes take place? Think before writing!!
@Law: gimme a link.....how do u justify central london killings....dont just satisfy yourself by giving fake news...........:p
Since October 2012 to date, one PORTION of Central London experienced 5206 crimes. In Karachi, by comparison, the number is considerably lower. We seem to have developed an unnatural obsession with crime in our country. The media needs to stop fear mongering. While crime is unacceptable, reporting it with such diligence is not benefiting the average citizen of Karachi. Writing an article about who was assaulted where, will not help those unfortunate souls involved in it.
