Election time: ‘Magisterial powers needed’
Deputy election commissioners have once again requested the provincial government to grant them magisterial powers.

Deputy election commissioners have once again requested the provincial government to grant them magisterial powers so they can control the law and order situation in the upcoming elections. At a meeting on Thursday officials were asked to submit their proposals to comply with the Supreme Court orders of delimiting constituencies in Karachi.
