Extra-curricular: Gear up for ‘Anti-corruption week’

Competitions for essay writing, speeches, posters and paintings will be held during an “Anti-Corruption Week” to be observed from December 3 to 9 under the supervision of Sargodha Division Colleges Director Prof Mulla Khan Haideri. Colleges Assistant Director Imtiaz Sobhi announced this on Thursday. He said the speech contest titles would be “fair earning is equal to worship” and “corruption causes destruction”. He said the title for the essay writing competition would be “those who take and give bribe will go to hell”. He said social issues would be depicted in the posters and paintings competition. He said the district-level competitions would be held on December 3 and the divisional-level on December 4. He said the boys’ contests would be held at the Government Boys Ambala College, whereas the venue for girls would be the Girls Post-Graduate College, Chandni Chowk.
