Pakistan sending in ‘high-quality’ fake currency, claims Indian government

The Indian government has claimed that maximum consignments of ‘high-quality’ fake currency notes are being supplied in the country from Pakistan, reported Press Trust of India on Thursday.

“As per available inputs from central intelligence and investigation agencies, consignments of high quality fake Indian currency notes (FICN) have been directly or indirectly sourced from Pakistan,” Indian Minister of State for Finance Namo Narain Meena informed the Parliament as quoted by the story.

In response to a question whether India has sought help from the US to tackle the menace of fake currency notes, the minister replied in the affirmative.

He stated, “Under the Indo-US homeland security dialogue, counterfeit currency is one of the aspects for cooperation, covering exchange of knowledge, skill and intelligence.”

@Jat: But, as you are living in Britain, you really don’t know what is going on here in this region. And your loyalties are divided. And in Britain are cabinet ministers known as “government stooges”,

Again a presumptuous statement to make, First of all by you saying "As you are living in Britain,You really don't know what is going on here in this region" you are excluding not only Pakistani's but ALL NRI (Non-Resident Indian's) from engaging in a discussion about there homeland (so GP65 and others no more comments please) furthermore you say "And your Loyalties are divided" I for your information am a businessman who spend equal amounts of time both in UK and Pakistan as well as spending time in other countries also. I follow one simple rule "RULE OF LAW OF THE COUNTRY I AM LIVING IN" i treat ALL people equally and do not care what there country of origin is. i do not see how? being a global citizen requires me to show/have loyalties? I am loyal only to HUMANITY. Finally with regards to British Parliament with all its flaws it still is the best form/example of governance and has achieved this through hundreds of years of struggle. Indian Parliament is also worthy of praise for its achievements (definitely ahead of Pakistan Parliament) but both have a fair bit to go before they can eclipse the British in this respect.

@Akhter: Great I agree with most of what you have said above.

But, as you are living in Britain, you really don't know what is going on here in this region. And your loyalties are divided. And in Britain are cabinet ministers known as "government stooges", especially when laying statements/reports in the parliament ?

One more thing, there are at least two things seriously wrong with your following statement, which in the interest of having a civil discussion I will let you correct yourself,

...the Pakistan (democratically elected) government representatives have also stated on many instances that they have evidence of Indian intelligentsia involvement in Pakistan,so going by your definition this becomes a Pakistan Government statement.
