The Chinese government had previously given an estimated $19million in humanitarian relief to Pakistan.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu stressed on Sept 2 that China's assistance to flood-hit Pakistan was sincere, timely and unconditional. She said China would continue to offer Pakistan support and help for the reconstruction.
According to an online news report published on August 31, a Chinese medical team had received up to 1,451 patients in Thatta.
A Chinese business man also donated $146,557 for flood victims, stating that Pakistan and China enjoy a special relationship.
