Balochistan Violence: Two people killed in Quetta, Barkhan

Two people were killed, including a member of the Hazara community, in firing incidents in Quetta and Barkhan.

QUETTA: Two people were killed, including a member of the Hazara community, in firing incidents in Quetta and Barkhan and a dead body was found in Machh on Wednesday. According to police, armed men opened indiscriminate fire on a person at Circular Road in Quetta and fled. The deceased was shifted to Combined Military Hospital where he was identified as Hussain Ali Hazara.  Police said that the incident appeared to be a case of sectarian target killing. In another incident, a man was shot dead in Barkhan. The victim was identified as Nadeem Jan. Elsewhere, on a tip-off, police recovered a dead body from a bus stop in Machh and shifted it to the state-run hospital for autopsy. The victim was identified as Ejaz. Police have registered separate cases in all the incidents and opened investigations.
