Orient labs case: Factory owners granted bail

LAHORE: Justice Muhammad Kazim Raza Shamsi of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday granted bail to Zafar Iqbal, Zaheer Iqbal and Zubair Iqbal, the three owners of Orient Labs which had caved in the wake of a boiler explosion, claiming the lives of 24 workers, in a case registered against them by the Anti-Corruption Department. Judge order the accused be released on furnishing bail bonds of Rs100,000 each. The lawyer for the accused said that the boiler explosion was an accident and the owners could not be held responsible for it. He said that the Anti-Corruption Department had registered a case against the applicants on the charge of poor construction of the collapsed factory. He said that the allegations against the accused were false. He sought a concession of the bail. The Punjab government counsel, opposing the bail applications, said the accused were responsible for the deaths of the workers.

The frame which was charged on the owners were illegal.in reality the owners were not the actual people who were to be blame. The factory was registered by the Pakistan government and the building was firm and strong. It was established since 30 years. In my opinion,i think so that it neither be the owners nor the workers itself !! The judge have taken the right decision.
