FIA seeks income tax statements of Qadir Gilani among six others

Director FIA writes letter to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in this regard.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) directed Abdul Qadir Gilani, son of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, and six others to submit their income tax statements, reported Express News on Wednesday.

The others who were issued notices include Qadir Gilani’s wife, former religious minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Shaukat Ali, Abdullah Khokar, Zain Sukhera and Rao Shakeel.

According to Express News, the director FIA has written a letter to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in this regard.

The FIA is already investigating allegations against Qadir Gilani for obtaining bribes from a Hajj official.
