Roof collapse: Woman killed, three injured

Rescue official says the workers were trapped underneath the rubble.

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed and three people were injured on Tuesday when the roof of a warehouse collapsed in Factory Area. The injured were taken to a hospital, where they were reported to be in critical condition. Rescue officials said the roof of a storage house in 212 Scheme, Madina Commercial Market in Sir Syed Town collapsed while workers were inside. They said the roof was in a dilapidated condition. They said the workers were trapped underneath the rubble. It took rescuers two hours to pull out the injured. Uzma, 20, a resident of Muzaffar Colony, succumbed to her injuries. The storage house owner, Malik Mohsin, and workers Rasheed and Tanveer of D-Type Colony were take to a hospital in critical condition.
