ATC gives 3 day remand to suspects in lynching case

The Anti-terrorism Court Gujranwala has given a three day physical remand of 19 people to the police.

SIALKOT: The Anti Terrorism Court Gujranwala has given a three day physical remand of 19 people to the police in conjunction with the Sialkot lynching case

The 19 accused include former SHO Rana Ilyaas, constable Mubarik and seventeen villagers.

The Anti Terrorism Court has allowed the joint investigation team to question six police personnel including DPO Waqar Chauhan in jail.

The court had previously sent them to jail on a six day judicial remand for their alleged involvement in the Sialkot lynching incident.
