NOWSHERA: Nine Russian-made rockets hidden in the internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Jalozai were recovered and defused by the bomb disposal squad (BDS) on Monday.

A camp official said that the rockets were found by Hayat Khan, a resident of Bara, Khyber Agency, while he was digging the ground for his tent. The official said that the rockets belonged to the ‘mujahideens’ who fought the Russians.

Some of them are also living in the camp as refugees and had buried them in the ground, the official added.
