Squash: Unseeded Nasir in London Open semis

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal defeated third-seed Robbie Temple of England 3-2 in the quarter-finals of the London Open on Friday. Nasir, who had to play a qualifying round in order to make it to the main rounds, got the better of Temple 11-8, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8. The Pakistani was scheduled to meet second-seed Chris Ryder late last night for a place in the final that takes place today. Earlier, Nasir had beaten another Englishman Charles Sharpes 3-2 in the first-round.
