Illegal captivity: Wildlife Department recovers deer

"Deer will be sent to Jallo Park in Lahore,” says Wildlife Officer.

DASKA: A wild deer was caught at Kakowali village on Friday and handed over to the Wildlife Department. Wildlife Inspector Manzoor Ahmed was told by an informer that Syed Javed, a resident of Kakowali village, kept a wild deer in his henhouse. Inspector Ahmed and watcher Mushtaq Bhatti led a team and took the deer in their custody. The deer was handed over to Wildlife Officer Amjad Farooq. Farooq said they seized a number of deer. “They will be sent to Jallo Park in Lahore,” he said.
