Condemnation: Suicide attack in Pindi denounced

In a meeting with adviser to Punjab Chief Minister, scholars renewed their pledge to nurture brotherhood during month.

RAWALPINDI: Local Shia scholars and leaders on Thursday reiterated their determination to keep the city peaceful during the month of Muharram and denounced the suicide attack during a mourning procession on Wednesday night. In a meeting with Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, the adviser to Punjab Chief Minister, the scholars renewed their pledge to nurture brotherhood during the month. The adviser said that a list of the deceased and injured persons has been sent to the chief minister for financial assistance to their family members.
