The fourth edition of the film festival opens up with a music performance by Meesha and her husband Masood Rahman.

L’Oreal Paris Pakistan spokesperson and actor-singer-model Meesha Shafi performed at the official Doha Tribeca Film Festival 2012, according to a press release; the fourth edition of the film festival opened up with a music performance by Meesha and her musician husband Mahmood Rahman.

After the couple kicked off the night with their numbers, the Qawwal Brothers — Farid Ayaz and Abu Mohammad — took the stage for a collaborative performance featuring songs from the soundtrack of Meesha’s cinematic debut venture The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

Following the music performances was the screening of the film, which is an adaption of author Mohsin Hamid’s bestseller and is directed by the internationally acclaimed film-maker Mira Nair.

The Oslo-based stylist Amar Faiz styled Meesha in a custom-designed white, chiffon and silver lace couture gown by Cecilie Melli. She paired up her dress with a sexy Swarovski clutch, a Dyrberg/Kern bracelet and a polki solitaire ring by Amrapali.
