MURREE: Four staff members of the Army School of Logistics in Murree suffocated in their hostel room on Monday night due to a gas leak. The Murree police, quoting army officials from the school, said the deceased — two civilian clerks, a civilian watchman and a hawaldar — were found dead in their room. Police said the cause of their deaths was suffocation due to gas leaking from a heater in the room. Police said army officials broke into the room when the four officials did not report for duty at 8:00am. Upon finding the four men dead, the army officials had the bodies shifted to Combined Military Hospital, Murree in army vehicles, the police said. Later, they were dispatched to their hometowns. The names of the deceased officials were Abdul Manan, Saifur Rehman, Muhammad Khan and Hameedullah.
