Social Media enable us to built trust and affinity to turn audiences into advocates, Roomi Hayat, chief executive officer of the Institute of Rural Management (IRM), said on Tuesday.
At the end of a workshop on the “Magic of Social Media”, he said that the IRM has organised this workshop to provide the participants with an opportunity to learn organisational marketing tools of the 21st century and increase their outreach. He further said that social media gives businesses a new way to interact with customers. “It’s no longer enough that a strong marketing initiative will turn consumers into
customers. Your business needs to create strategies that link the customer experience with the technologies and systems,” he said.
He added that workshop has shed light on myths about social media, marketing and social media, and social media.
